A. Home Child Care Provider Pilot Program

This is a pilot program for foreign national caregivers who meet the minimum education and language requirements as well as a qualifying job offer as a caregiver. A benefit for them would be the option to bring to Canada their family members. The family members may apply for open work or study permits. Eventually, they can all apply for permanent residency and Canadian citizenship.

B. Home Support Worker Pilot Program

This is a pilot program for health care providers for seniors, as well as those with disabilities and lingering illness, and those who need assistance and companionship while having medical treatments. Family members may accompany the applicant and will be eligible to apply for study or open work permits. Later on, they may all apply for permanent residency and Canadian citizenship.

C. Temporary Foreign Worker Program

Whether you are a foreign worker or a Canada-based employer, we can help you proceed with a work permit application based on a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

This program aims to bridge the gap in the shortage of employees for skills-specific jobs or seasonal work. The LMIA is a crucial requirement for Canadian employers to justify to the government their need to hire foreign workers due to the shortage of qualified Canadian or Permanent Resident workers. It protects the labour market in Canada and the rights of foreign workers as they play an essential role as the most significant asset in companies – human resources.

Three government groups oversee the process, each with a different role. These are the Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
